FLOYD AND COURTNEY // Downtown Edmonton Couples Photographer

March 13, 2010   |   Posted By Renee   |   Couples, Portraits

He’s 21, she’s 18. When Shaun and I started dating (7 years ago, wow!) he was 21 and I was 17. Everything was new and exciting and romantic; this is Floyd and Courtney right now: young and in love. Floyd booked this session a few weeks back and surprised Courtney with a bouquet of flowers and the news that they were going to have a portrait session together. So sweet!  Floyd lives in Winnipeg, so we scheduled the shoot during his visit to Edmonton. He’s back in Winnipeg now, anxiously awaiting this sneak peek!  This session was super hard to narrow down for the blog, so it’s a bit of a long one. Enjoy!

Steam poured out of this smokestack for about 2 minutes – Shaun noticed it and we rushed over to grab a few awesome shots!

LINDSAY, CALVIN, AND THE BEAN // Edmonton Maternity Portraits

January 21, 2010   |   Posted By Renee   |   Maternity

Meet Lindsay, Calvin, and their little bean. A few months ago we had a shoot with Lindsay’s brother David and his family, and are so happy that our name was passed along. Lindsay and Calvin are such a great couple, and we can not wait to meet their baby within the next few weeks. This will be their first child, so as you can imagine they are pretty excited! We spent a chilly afternoon on the U of A campus shooting their maternity session, and we’ll be shooting their newborn session as soon as their little one shows up, so be sure to check back in February. Visit our Facebook Fan Page to see a few more images!

This shot is Shaun’s, and the one right after is mine; it’s so much fun to compare how each of us shoots!

One of my favourites of the day!

This adorable little (ahem, huge) bunny refused to budge for the longest time!

Love, love, love these next two shots of Shaun’s!

Calvin wanted Lindsay to make a snow angel at the end of the shoot, but there was no way we were going to let him off without making one himself. We love these shots – such a fun couple!

GOODBYE TO 2009 // A Visual Recap!

January 1, 2010   |   Posted By Renee   |   Fun, Personal

2009 has been an absolutely amazing year for us, and we wanted to take a look back at the work we have done in just a few short months. We are so proud of what we have accomplished this early on in our business, and we can not wait for 2010! We are incredibly thankful for all of the people we worked with over this past year, and have been blown away by all of their kind words and personal referrals. We are so excited for everything that 2010 may bring!

So here it is, a recap of our first 6 months in business. You’ve likely seen many of these images before, but there are a few that have not yet graced our blog!
