OUR 2010 ALBUM COLLECTION

January 23, 2010   |   Posted By Renee   |   Engagements, Portraits, Products, Weddings

We are so excited about our 2010 album collection, and wanted to share a bit of a sneak peek for everyone right here on the blog! These are fine art books, printed on gorgeous archival quality paper. Pictures don’t do them justice, these books need to be experienced in person. For us, albums seal the deal. They are a culmination of all of our hard work, and it feels amazing to have something so beautiful in our hands. For our clients, there is no better way to display your images. These books are sure to be something that you will treasure for years to come, passing them down to future generations. We are currently offering engagement  guestbooks, portrait albums, wedding albums, parent albums, and mini purse albums. Please contact us for detailed pricing information, or if you would like to see these bad boys in person!

First up is our new 8″ x 6″ guestbook. These books lay flat which makes signing super easy, and are a great way to show off your engagement portraits!

Now for our wedding albums! This is our 12″ x 12″ studio sample, and a replica 4″ x 4″ purse album.

The mini albums are an exact replica of your primary wedding album – throw one in your purse and show it off wherever you go!

Shaun and I design all of our albums in house. We do not outsource our designs for a few reasons, the first being that we’re control freaks! Second, and more importantly, since we experience your wedding day or portrait session with you, we feel as though we are best suited to tell your story.  We like to keep all of our two page spreads simple, and focus on only a few images.

Please note that our watermark will not be on your album, that is for blogging purposes only :)

LINDSAY, CALVIN, AND THE BEAN // Edmonton Maternity Portraits

January 21, 2010   |   Posted By Renee   |   Maternity

Meet Lindsay, Calvin, and their little bean. A few months ago we had a shoot with Lindsay’s brother David and his family, and are so happy that our name was passed along. Lindsay and Calvin are such a great couple, and we can not wait to meet their baby within the next few weeks. This will be their first child, so as you can imagine they are pretty excited! We spent a chilly afternoon on the U of A campus shooting their maternity session, and we’ll be shooting their newborn session as soon as their little one shows up, so be sure to check back in February. Visit our Facebook Fan Page to see a few more images!

This shot is Shaun’s, and the one right after is mine; it’s so much fun to compare how each of us shoots!

One of my favourites of the day!

This adorable little (ahem, huge) bunny refused to budge for the longest time!

Love, love, love these next two shots of Shaun’s!

Calvin wanted Lindsay to make a snow angel at the end of the shoot, but there was no way we were going to let him off without making one himself. We love these shots – such a fun couple!

RANJEEVA, AMY, AND LIAM – TAKE 2 // Edmonton Family Photographer

November 26, 2009   |   Posted By Renee   |   Baby, Family, Kids

We recently met up with Ranjeeva, Amy, and Liam for just a few more family photos. Laim wasn’t feeling too hot during our first session, and we wanted to make sure that they receive family portraits that they love! Luckily Liam was in much better spirits, and there just happens to be an awesome apple tree in their front yard. Here are a few of our favourites from our second go around!

JOSH, EMILY, AND JACKSON // Edmonton Family Photography

November 25, 2009   |   Posted By Renee   |   Baby, Family, Kids

When Emily first contacted us to set up a family portrait session, she wanted to be sure that Jackson would be able to sit up by himself. He was nearly 5 months old at the time, and sooo close! Emily proclaimed that they would practice sitting every day until the session, which made me laugh out loud. We knew this would be an awesome family, and we were definitely right! Emily, Josh, and their little guy Jackson are super fun, and super nice and we had a blast working with them! Jackson not only learned to sit up, he learned to crawl! Congratulations Jackson!
