I can’t believe it’s actually happened, but Ashley & Dustin’s wedding has now come and gone! Shaun dropped me off at the Savani Salon early in the morning to meet up with the girls, and I have to admit – I was nervous. We have done two previous sessions with Ashley & Dustin (see them here, here, & here), so the nerves had nothing to do with them. They are amazing, laid back, and kind and I knew their day was going to be perfect. But, this was our first wedding! What if we screw up? What if all of our equipment fails (yes, all of it)? What if it pours rain or storms and our locations for portraits don’t work out? The “what ifs” basically didn’t stop floating around in my head until I actually met with Ashley, and her two wonderful bridesmaids – Catherine & Jenny. As soon as we were together, I totally relaxed – I knew that everything was going to be OK. Ashley was such an easy going bride, and Dustin was such a cool and collected groom, so I figured if they were holding themselves together that well then I probably could too. The ceremony & reception took place at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, and we stopped by the University of Alberta for some portraits in between. We have so many great shots to choose from, so we’re splitting their wedding into two posts!
Congratulations Ashley & Dustin – we had an amazing time!
Ashley’s Maggie Sottero dress was gorgeous!

Love this shot Shaun got with the guys in the morning!

This is so sweet – Ashley’s reaction to seeing Dustin at the end of the aisle!

I love this series of Dustin adjusting Ashley’s bustle!

Yep, this car is pretty much amazing – Dustin’s Dad built it!

Ashley & Dustin are always up for whatever ideas we have – even a parkade shoot on their wedding day.

Single tear rolling down her cheek during their first dance = cute!

We had so much fun with the ring shots!

We can’t wait to show you even more – stay tuned for Part 2!!
