A random sampling of shots from our trip to Mazatlán, Mexico. Enjoy!

This shot was taken looking straight down from our balcony. Pretty amazing, right? Well, one day I looked down only to see the water filled with rays…let’s just say I much preferred the pool.

Shaun: ridiculously good-looking.

A super sweet cat we met on one of our adventures. On the same trip, we saw giant rays jumping in the ocean!

Mazatlán is home to so many stray dogs; these are juts a few of a massive population.

Shaun and I in the back of a pulmonia (open taxi):

Cute!

A very hilarious aquasize class at a neighboring hotel – this shot had to be taken with ninja-like skill.

Ominous, right?

Shaun testing out the danceability of our balcony. Verdict = very danceable.

Posing ever so naturally next to some flowers.

These are the first of many shots that we took during our recent trip to Mazatlán, Mexico. Shaun and I have been to Mazatlán many times before, but this was the first time that we checked out the shrimp boats. The boats were amazing, but boy was this a creepy place at night!

Our dog, Quito, is a cross between a Toy Poodle and a Havanese which basically means that he has the ability to grow ridiculously long and thick wavy fur. We usually have him groomed and shaved down every two months, but this year we decided to let it go for three months during the winter season. Needless to say, his hair grows fast and has become a crazy mess. Well my friends, today was his big day at the groomers and we figured we’d better share a few before and after shots of his makeover.
So, without further ado, here he is before:

And here he is after:

For good measure, here’s a split-screen shot:

He looks like a totally different dog, right? It’s amazing what just a haircut can do. I hope you enjoyed this little look into Quito’s life – I’m sure you’ll be seeing much more of him on the blog as time goes by!
